Pizza Hut Website Redesign

UI/UX redesign concept for a cleaner, more intuitive food ordering experience.

About

A personal redesign concept for the Pizza Hut website, driven by a straightforward observation: the existing site was dated, cluttered, and harder to use than it needed to be. The project was a self-set challenge to see what a cleaner, more considered version could look like.

Overview

This was a personal passion project focused entirely on UI/UX and interface design. For the redesign I explored the two core pages that builds the user journey - Home page and Delivery Menu. The challenge was to make the most important action, ordering food, as frictionless as possible.

The delivery menu was where most of the design thinking went. A single-page scroll layout organises the menu by category, Pizza, Baked, Pasta, Sides and Drinks, with three items visible at a time. Quantity selection, item editing, and adding to cart all happen inline, keeping the user on one page and reducing the number of decisions they have to make to complete an order.

The overall direction prioritised simplicity and usability, a site that feels modern without being flashy, and functional without being clinical.
